The purpose of the Swiss-American Society of Houston, Texas is to organize, educate, and promote the Swiss culture, languages, and values of the Swiss population in Houston and in the United States of America. As such, this organization supports all venues that represent what it is to be Swiss in our community while promoting goodwill and togetherness within the United States of America.

ABOUT US

The Swiss-American Society of Houston (SASH) is a vibrant Swiss club in Houston dedicated to connecting the Swiss community and friends of Switzerland. We bring people together to share Swiss culture, traditions, language, and cuisine—while creating a strong sense of community and belonging.

Founded in the late 1950s by Swiss immigrants, SASH has been promoting Swiss heritage in Houston for over 65 years. Today, our diverse and international members gather year-round for cultural events, social gatherings, and traditional celebrations.

From Swiss fondue and raclette dinners to picnics, art exhibitions, and friendly games of Jass (Switzerland’s national card game), our events offer a welcoming way to experience Swiss traditions, meet others in the Houston area, and celebrate everything that makes Switzerland unique.
